Great work. Try to apply reaction to your movement and make sure your character's pelvis is leading the movement and never stays still while other body parts move around.

Armadill0h responds:

Thanks for the tips!

You don't have to duplicate the composition if you want it to loop. You can save work space by picking the composition and going to Layer>Time>Enable time remapping, selecting the time remap on the layer and going to Animation>Add expression. Then you just type in the expression loop_out("cycle",0) and the composition will loop undlessly until it's duration is out.

jessejayjones responds:

Omg! You are a lifesaver! Thank you!! :D

I am amazed how well you captured their expressions. It's like Jerry's soul got sucked into that mario and you can see him in his eyes.
they're real and spectacular /5

Fun, catchy and light-hearted track with a solid immersive beat in the back- Classic WF material <3

Waterflame responds:

Thanks!

Good to see you back!

Well call me a fan, this is great.
Really upbeat and happy and all that good stuff, just wish it was a bit longer. The piece takes a good while to build up and by you're fully into it, it's over way too soon.
Regardless, this is a wonderful cheery piece for what it is and I'm sure to check in on everything you made/will make in the future.

Great facial features and solid understanding of anatomy, colors are vibrant and detailed and overall good composition. Great work!
If I were to point out my problems with this piece- The edges of the characters could be smoothen up abit, I think you could benefit from a larger canvas to help you with that.
Also light sources could be better communicated, for example the fire orb held by the central character doesn't seem to emit light on any of the characters, also if we establish that light is mainly coming from the front their shadows could be slightly stretched back.

The poses all seem correct and are dynamic and interesting, in the future try to either have them all in poses that bounce off each other rather than just look good individually, so you could really sell the notion that they exist in the same space rather than brought together from four different images.

Again, it is a great piece and your hard work really shines through! The fact that I'm talking about lightsources and posing and not coloring and basic anatomy already means you're on the right track ^^

Skogur responds:

Wow, thank you so much for those kind words!
To be honest I was not sure what to do with the fire orb, I was afraid that if I were to put some red light on the edge of the blonde guy, it would look like his hair was gonna catch fire.. which I guess proves your point of having the characters correspond better to eachother haha.

Thanks again for taking your time to writing such a detailed review, and also for becoming a fan! ^^

I cannot stress enough how great this is.. Just adorable!
If I had to point out one criticism is that the shift from brown to blue is very sudden which makes it look like she has short hair at first glance (probably because short is hair is more plausible than hair turning into space but idk), you can try to gradient the hair color to make it a little more clear and see if it works but why am I being a prick about this when the rest is so well made :X

Seeing how well they are drawn fills me with determination.
